Book Launch Party

Welcome to my book launch party. It started this morning in my backyard. If you want to join the party, please do. It was a reasonable time to be drinking absinthe in Prague. My heart is with you, wherever you are.

PS Who knows when this party will end? Not me. It's high summer in Montana, so--maybe the day after elk season closes? Let's call it Thanksgiving. That's my plan.

  5. Congrats! Is that really you? You look like a woodland nymph. :) My copy is due from Amazon this week.

Have you been practicing what you'll write when people ask you to sign the book for them? Too bad there's no i in your name. No opportunity to dot it with a big heart or smiley face.

    Cheers,
    Kristen

  6. Thank you everyone! I'm glad you all get to meet each other (that's what parties are for, even imaginary ones).

Kristen: I'm such a pun-sucker I've actually singed more than one "with my hole heart"

  7. Congratulations, Blythe!!! So sorry I'm uh...late *cough, cough* to the party! I was still in LA at SCBWI and pretty much keeping off my computer.

    I love the picture!!!

  8. Congratulations!

I've already heard such good things about The Freak Observer, so I will raise a glass to it! And I will absolutely read it.

(Your backyard looks freakishly like my backyard, by the way. Only with fewer weeds...)

  9. Here's to Blythe, here's to THE FREAK OBSERVER, both things of great beauty and artistry. (Okay, Blythe, I realize you are not a THING, but I'm going for effect/ emotional truth rather than precision.)

    XOXO

  11. I tried absinthe in Prague, but I didn't really enjoy it much. I did, however, love visiting Prague. It's my favorite city in Europe, so far.

Congratulations on the release of your new book. I have a copy and am definitely looking forward to reading and reviewing it for my site, YA Book Shelf.
