What I learned about biology and blogging

I cannot do both at the same time.

I have been overwhelmed by work--so overwhelmed that I couldn't even post what I learned last week.

I remembered deer, for one thing, and that is hard for me. (I blame this on the invention of reading. Reading is a sort of automatic memory.)

But I remembered deer.

Deer are, at least, familiar. Evo-Devo is a stranger. This is what Evo-Devo said to me:

The syntax of the body is not disturbed by reversals: situs viscerum inversu.
There it is, everything contrary, but the backwards heart is invisible to the other.

There are numbers forbidden, allowed, and preferred. The unrealized form points to the optimal number.
